Ugandan singer A Pass is not here for the political clout-chasing especially when it involves his music.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account, the Wuuyo hitmaker issued a no-nonsense warning to politicians particularly those in Northern Uganda who’ve been using his songs during campaign rallies without his approval.
“I’ve been informed that certain politicians are using my music during their campaigns. Let it be known I haven’t authorized any of that,” A Pass posted.
With the 2026 General Elections slowly heating up, it looks like some aspiring leaders are illegally vibing off A Pass’ hits to connect with crowds. But the artist isn’t letting it slide.
“As I gather more information, I’d like to request that the politicians involved discontinue this practice,” he added.
A Pass also urged his fans and followers to flag any political events where his music is being used improperly, calling it a misuse of his intellectual property and artistic brand.
