In a plot twist worthy of a Nollywood drama, former NTV presenter Robin Kisti finds herself in the spotlight—not for her media prowess, but for an alleged assault over an unpaid clothing debt. While initial whispers hinted at drug-related charges, insiders reveal a more sartorial scandal.
According to sources, the saga began when Kisti acquired women’s clothing worth Shs 300,000 from her neighbor, imported straight from Dubai. When the neighbor requested payment, Kisti reportedly dismissed the demand, allegedly asserting that her celebrity status exempted her from such obligations. Matters escalated when Kisti and her boyfriend allegedly confronted the neighbor, resulting in a physical altercation that left the latter hospitalized with a blood clot.
Despite offering Shs 7 million in compensation, Kisti reportedly only paid Shs 300,000 for bail. The situation further deteriorated with allegations of Kisti and her boyfriend appropriating the neighbor’s business idea to launch their own cooking oil brand. While marijuana was found during the arrest, sources emphasize that the primary charge was assault, not drug possession.
