Ugandan singer and vocal powerhouse Lydia Jazmine has finally broken her silence on the delay of her much-anticipated debut album, revealing that distribution issues pushed the timeline back but fans won’t have to wait much longer.
Jazmine, real name Lydia Nabawanuka, had initially promised the album would be out by the end of this month. However, in a recent media update, she explained that the release had to be pushed due to logistical challenges tied to distribution.
“We finalized everything and it will be released early June,” Jazmine confirmed. “We are going to start advertising it, and soon it will be out there.”

While she stopped short of giving an exact release date, the singer assured her fans that the project is now ready and promotional efforts will roll out in the coming days.
Jazmine revealed that a lot of time, energy, and investment has gone into the album, noting that it has taken center stage in her career this year.
“We have put in a lot of time, invested in a lot of resources, and worked with different people. The album has taken a lot of my time. I’ve given it my all,” she said.

Because of the demands of the album, Jazmine confirmed she won’t be holding a concert in 2025, saying it’s simply not in her plans for the year.
International Moves, But Not on the Album
The singer was recently in Kenya on business and music-related ventures. During her trip, she linked up with Bahati, one of Kenya’s top musicians, and the two recorded a collaboration.
However, Jazmine clarified that the song with Bahati will not be featured on her upcoming album, leaving fans curious about what surprises the project may hold.
With excitement building and all systems now aligned, Lydia Jazmine’s debut album promises to be a career-defining moment. Fans should expect a promotional wave to kick off soon and with it, the long-awaited music that’s been in the works behind the scenes.
