Turns out, one of Uganda’s most chaotic celebrity beefs was never even real. A Pass has just admitted that his online back-and-forth with Bebe Cool was all a calculated stunt and yes, the internet fell for it.

During a laid-back TikTok live, the Wuyo singer (real name Alexander Bagonza) casually dropped the bombshell that his “beef” with Bebe Cool was actually planned and get this it was Bebe’s idea!

“Bebe Cool literally told me, ‘Disturb me online.’ He asked why I was so quiet yet funny in person. He said my calm guy persona wouldn’t take me anywhere,” A Pass told fans.

Apparently, the two met at Iguana, shared some business talk, and Bebe advised A Pass to “cause havoc” online to get people talking. No bad blood. Just strategy.

“We had no issues. He just told me to make noise so we could trend. So I did,” A Pass confessed, laughing.

From savage tweets to snarky interviews, their “clashes” kept fans glued and gossip blogs buzzing. And while many thought the drama was real, some had already started to suspect it was giving parody.

And now? The “former rivals” seem to be on good terms again. In fact, A Pass recently got a private listening session of Bebe Cool’s upcoming album, Break The Chains and he had nothing but praise.

“The album is well-done, well-mixed, with great vocals and clean production,” he said.

So there you have it: clout beef , real beef, and the music? Still winning.
