If I Wasn’t Famous, I’d Have 12 Kids by Now – Spice Diana Gets Real About Motherhood, Fame & Humility

Ugandan music queen Spice Diana just dropped some surprisingly heartfelt (and hilarious) gems about motherhood, fame, and how life has a funny way of humbling all of us.

In an exclusive sit-down, the “Siri Regular” hitmaker opened up like never before reflecting on how the glitz and glam of the industry can’t compete with the warmth of family.

“Honestly, if I hadn’t become a star at a young age, I’d probably have like 12 kids right now,” she said with a laugh. “I love children, and if I wasn’t the rock of my family or constantly in the spotlight, I’d definitely be a full-time mama.”

But don’t get it twisted Spice wasn’t just joking. She got candid about the dark side of fame from the pressure to stay relevant, to depression, drug abuse, and the brutal way the industry forgets you when the hype dies down.

“The music industry is harsh. Things rarely end well for artists,” she said. “That’s why, at some point, you need something solid to hold onto and for me, that’s family. Whether it’s a spouse, a mom, or children, family keeps you grounded.”

And in classic Spice Diana style, she didn’t shy away from a little social commentary either. Addressing the viral trend of women declaring they don’t need men, she shared her take.

“At the end of the day, some of those same women end up having kids with men. Life just has a way of humbling us,” she said, adding, “That’s why I always say never say never.”
