“Put Some Respect on My Name” – Keko Declares Herself Uganda’s Rap GOAT

Keko Town is done being humble she’s officially crowned herself Uganda’s greatest rapper of all time, and she wants the whole game to know it.

In a bold mic-drop moment, Keko said no one in the rap scene, male or female, comes close to what she’s accomplished. Not GNL. Not Navio. Not The Mith. Not even the new wave.

“All of them can’t compare to me because I’m the GOAT. They’re still young. I already found my voice. I’m not at Recho Rey’s level she’s still discovering hers,” she said with full chest.

And she has the receipts. Keko burst into the rap scene when it was a boy’s club and kicked down the door bar for bar with heavyweights like McKenzie, GNL Zamba, Mun G, and Navio. Not only did she hold her own, she dominated, winning awards and performing on international stages.

Even after she left the country at her career’s peak, her impact never left. The charts stayed buzzing with her hits, and the streets never stopped saying her name.

And as for upcoming artists asking for collabs? Keko’s not interested yet.

“I tell them, go back to the drawing board. Work hard. Then maybe come back and talk to me. I don’t even remember their names,” she added with a shrug.

Keko’s message to the game is clear: You don’t have to like it, but you WILL respect it.
