Forget the music battles, political digs, or stage show drama Bebe Cool is finally giving fans the real reason behind his long-standing feud with fellow artist Bobi Wine, and it has nothing to do with fame or microphones.
Speaking during the just-concluded Bride and Groom Expo, Bebe Cool let it all out and let’s just say, tea was spilled, names were named, and receipts were brought out.
According to Bebe, the bitter beef didn’t start with elections, charts, or social media shade. It started the day Zuena, his wife, packed her bags and left home and he reached out to Bobi’s wife Barbie Kyagulanyi for help.

“I called Barbie to talk to Zuena and help me fix things. But guess what? Instead of support, Bobi called me and unleashed a storm mocking, insulting, and questioning why I’d drag his wife into my ‘mess,’” Bebe recalled, visibly still salty.
But Bebe wasn’t ready to take the disrespect lying down especially not from a friend whose own marriage, he claims, he once helped hold together.
“His wife had left him several times and always ran to my house. It was my wife Zuena who convinced Barbie to go back. I listened to Bobi rant on the phone that day, but in my head, I was counting how many times I’d helped him patch things up.”
Bebe Cool made it clear: the issue cut deeper than music or politics it was personal. And from that moment, their brotherhood was broken.
“I hated him from that day. I’ve said it. For the role I played in keeping his marriage together, he had no right to disrespect me like that. If he had beef, he should’ve come to me like a man,” Bebe said.
And here’s the kicker Bebe Cool says he’s open to burying the hatchet, but only under one condition:
“The only way I’ll ever forgive Bobi Wine is if he publicly apologizes for what he did. That’s it.”
Looks like the ball is officially in Bobi Wine’s court.
Until then, fans can keep debating but now they know: the beef wasn’t born in the studio or on the campaign trail… it started with friendship, family, and one.
